The consumer industry is on the cusp of a new generation of connectivity technologies. What is driving this evolution? Essentially, the anticipation that more bandwidth will enable new use cases.
MCCI has a development methodology that reduces the risk of deploying new technologies (such as WUSB) through: 1) architecture, 2) portability, and 3) simulation environment.
Market Acceptance factors include 1) Need for a portable SW solution 2) Tuning software 3) Coordination between MAC and WUSB.
The core technology of UW and WUSB is maturing. Over the next year, we will see market introduction of native devices that deliver the promise of UWB/WUSB.
